Konica has radically simplified the exposure system of the R1 system. It’s simple design delivers sharp and crisp images by utilizing a new exposure element and optical path. In addition, the unit is incredibly easy to clean making lab operations easier.

New Film Scanner
Konica has adopted a new modular scanner design that delivers scans with virtually no signal noise. This is achieved by using a precision zoom lens using Konica’s highest quality optics. The LED light source is also more stable yielding more consistent scans. When equipped with Digital ICE, dust and scratch removal are possible. The new scanner can accept 135, APS, 110, 120 and slides.

Universal Design & Flexibility
By utilizing a modular design, it is possible to adapt the Konica R1 Super to an array of various laboratory applications. It is possible to have one scanning station feed multiple printers as well as ink jet devices. In addition, you can upgrade most exiting Konica 8 Series equipment to the R1 Super by simply replacing the printer section and installing the scanner station.
